Kate and I took a walk around the Keen on a foggy day, fog can be a really polarising subject in photography, it can really make or break a photograph.

This photo is taken from the very tip of the military spur of Unst. Hermaness certainly is a striking place.

Shetland,

This is a bit of an odd image, it's a whole lot of nothing, it's bleak and it's wide for no reason. 

For those reasons I love this image, it represents how I was feeling standing there taking the image. This image was one of the reasons I ended up moving to Shetland.

This image was taken by laying down and placing my camera in a rut on a heath.

This image made me a big advocate for twisty, flippy screens on cameras. It really isn't just a gimmick.
